Our Promise

Thousands of New Yorkers experience homelessness every year. These individuals face rising issues of food insecurity, adverse weather conditions and a myriad of health issues, and we are determined to do what we can to help them. We believe it’s our corporate responsibility to help our NYC community, so for every person we move, we will donate a meal through the Bowery Mission.

The Bowery Mission

Established in the 1870’s, The Bowery Mission has a long history of helping individuals experiencing hunger and homelessness New York City. Through their six locations, they provide places to sleep, meals, and clothing to anyone in need of a helping hand. We are honored to team up with The Bowery Mission to serve the members of our community who need the most help.

Making a Difference

The Bowery Mission’s Compassionate Care Program reaches out to the thousands of adults going through individual crises every year. Thanks to this program, these individuals can take a shower, sleep in a warm and comforting environment, and enjoy a free meal. To learn more about our pledge to donate one meal for every person we move, call us today. For every person that Hudson River Moving & Storage relocates, we are donating a meal to the homeless via The Bowery Mission.
